Transportation Services

Cambria Community Bus - Free local transportation for seniors and people with disabilities Monday-Friday. Transportation to San Luis Obispo once a month. Call 805-927-4173 between 9-11AM at least one day in advance. (A service provide by the Cambria Community Council)

Senior Go - Door-door transportation for seniors 65+ within San Luis Obispo county. $10-20 round-trip fees. Call 805-473-3333.

CenCal - will provide door to door transport for MediCal patients; call 855-659-4600.

Care Connection - provides assisted transportation in SLO County (fee based); call 805-934-0592.

CHC (Community Health Centers) - provides CHC patient appointment transportation; call 805-361-8400.

Food Services

Meals That Connect - Offers Dine In or Home delivered meals, five days a week, for seniors, 60 and older. Call 805-952-2843.

Cambria Vineyard Church - Food outreach. Distribution of Food Bank of SLO County surplus food to eligible families and individuals on the 2nd & 4th Thursdays, noon-2PM, 1617 Main Street, Cambria.

Soto's True Earth Market - grocery home delivery. Call in orders (805-927-3410) or go to their website to place an order. No charge with a minimum $50 order. Order by noon for delivery between 4 and 6pm; only available Mon, Weds and Fridays.

Additional Services

Community Partners in Caring - Provides assistance for seniors including transportation, telephone and in-hone visitation, and shopping services. Call 805-925-8000. Note that they request pre registration and 7 days advance reservation for rides.

Salvation Army - Help with expenses such as utility bills and rent. Call the Paso Robles office at 805-238-9591.

Senior Volunteer Services - Connecting seniors to services available in SLO county; call 805-544-8740.

SLO County Adult Protective Services - Programs include Protective Services, In-Home Supportive Services and Public Authority. Call 805-781-1790

The SLO Evacuation Assistance Program is for independent-living individuals in San Luis Obispo County with disabilities or medical needs who would need assistance evacuating in an emergency. Click on the CCSD page linked for registration instructions.
